I had no clue what Stardew valley was before I saw this game pop up on the App Store. I thought it looked pretty interesting so I decided to give it a try. And oh my gosh, it is GREAT! It’s not the traditional kind of game. There are traditional aspects but it is different from any other games you can play. All of the characters have a lot of depth and thought, the art and design is beautiful, and the world building makes it feel immersed! For a relatively small map and not too many characters, I’ve put dozens and dozens of hours into the game.
To be honest, sometimes I need to take some breaks for a few weeks at a time because it can be slow paced at times. But otherwise, there is LOTS of content! It’s not some sort of game that you go through and finish once and then you’re done.
